Waves of Wonder

Waves of Wonder: A Marine Science & Art Incubator was a dynamic science and art incubator for interdisciplinary exchanges between College of Arts & Sciences and Batten School for Coastal & Marine Sciences & VIMS students and the development of imaginative expressions for scientific communication. The incubator was a hub for lectures, workshops and events that stimulated the imagination of participating students in devising artistic expressions of scientific concepts. The incubator also offered art and science communication professional development in visual captioning with alumna, Zara Stasi ’12.
