Todd Boehly ’96

Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Businessman & Investor

Major: {{, Finance}}

After arriving on campus with plans to become a doctor or philosopher, it was at William & Mary that Todd Boehly discovered finance. Now, Todd is chairman and CEO of Eldridge, an owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Sparks and many other properties, and chairman of Chelsea Football Club. Still he remains an active member of the William & Mary community.

In 2014, Todd co-founded the Boehly Center for Excellence in Finance at William & Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business with his wife, Katie '95. The Boehly Center provides experiential learning opportunities for W&M students seeking careers in finance. “What finance has done for me has been nothing short of spectacular and I’d really love to share the opportunity, the education and knowledge base with current students.”

A wrestler during his time at W&M, Todd also remains integral to William & Mary Athletics. Todd and Katie are the visionaries and lead donors behind the W&M Athletics Complex, a project that is transforming the student-athlete experience by enabling them to perform at their highest level and reach their fullest potential.
