What is a Wellness Mindset?
A wellness mindset is a general attitude, belief, or a typical way of thinking with wellness in mind. It is an approach that requires attention and intention. This approach is about being intentional about what we do which requires us to pay attention to our behaviors. It is moving towards more health-directed behaviors than health-related behaviors.
Health-directed behaviors are behaviors aimed at improving or maintaining our health/wellness and have a goal, while health-related behaviors are actions that impact/influence our health/wellness but are not undertaken with the primary goal of improving our health/wellness, the influence on one's health is a byproduct of other activities.
This may sound challenging, however the key is intent, in short, is whatever you do, "Do it for the well of it".
