Summary
William & Mary is excited to announce that campus printing services will transition from Papercut to Wēpa beginning January 7.
Full Description
With the retirement of W&M Express, William & Mary is excited to announce that campus printing services will transition from Papercut to Wēpa beginning January 7. This upgrade will provide a more flexible, user-friendly, and reliable printing experience for the campus community.
Why Wēpa?
The Wēpa (Wireless Everywhere Print Anywhere) platform offers several key benefits:
- More Ways to Print: Upload documents from laptops, mobile devices, the Wēpa website, or cloud storage services such as Google Drive and OneDrive.
- Color Printing: All Wēpa printers will have the option to print in Color.
- Print Anywhere on Campus: Pick up your documents at any Wēpa kiosk.
- Faster, More Reliable Kiosks: Wēpa stations are modern, streamlined, and designed to reduce downtime and long wait times.
- Contactless & Convenient Options: Release prints using the Wēpa mobile app, or via QR code for a smooth, touch-free experience.
- 24/7 Cloud Access: Upload your files anytime and print when it’s convenient for you.
What You Need to Know
The transition will take place during Winter Break, and Papercut services will be retired. When you return to campus, all lab printing and all printing for students will now occur through the Wēpa system. More information will be coming soon.
