W&M Single-Sign On Modernization Completed

The remaining Central Authentication Service (CAS) services will move to the Microsoft login on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. This will complete the modernization and consolidation of our Single Sign-on (SSO) environment to Microsoft that began on May 21, 2025.
Full Description
On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, IT will be changing the Single-Sign On (SSO) for all remaining services from CAS to the Microsoft Login. This completes our SSO consolidation and modernization project – providing one consistent SSO experience with longer sessions and less DUO two-factor authorizations required.
After the change, you may no longer be prompted when you go to login to services that required CAS, including Blackboard or Banner, as you may already have a Microsoft SSO session. If you do not have a session from logging in previously, you will be prompted with W&M's standard Microsoft login.
Extensive testing has been completed with the affected services; however, if you happen to run into a problem with a service on the day of the change, please contact the Technology Support Center and provide the name of the service, URL of the service and a screenshot of any error message you receive.
