W&M Single-Sign On (SSO) Change

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, IT will be changing the Single-Sign On (SSO) used for most third-party W&M provided software services from the Central Authentication Service login to the Microsoft login used by Outlook, Teams and OneDrive.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, IT will be changing the Single-Sign On (SSO) used for third-party W&M provided software services from the Central Authentication Service login to the Microsoft login used by Outlook, Teams and OneDrive. Examples of the software services that will be changing are Box, Zoom, Famis and BuyWM. Other services that will not be affected at this time include Blackboard, Cascade and Banner; however, they will be changing at a later date. 

After the change, the next time you need to login to to one of these services, you will be prompted with W&M's standard Microsoft login. Extensive testing has been completed with the affected services; however, if you happen to run into a problem with a service on the day of the change, please contact the Technology Support Center and provide the name of the service, URL of the service and a screenshot of any error message you receive.
