Windows 11 Upgrades for W&M-owned PC's

Support for Windows 10 ends October 14, 2025. To ensure you receive the latest features, performance improvements, and security enhancements, we ask that you upgrade any W&M owned Windows 10 devices to Windows 11 at your earliest convenience.

Support for Windows 10 will be ending on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.  To ensure you receive the latest features, performance improvements, and security enhancements, we ask that you upgrade any W&M-owned Windows 10 device to Windows 11 at your earliest convenience.

You can choose a time that works best for you by going to Settings > Windows Update, and selecting Download and install under the Windows 11 upgrade option.  The process may take around 2 hours, so we recommend running it overnight.

If your computer is not Windows 11 compatible, we will be reaching out to you on an individual basis.

Important

Please note that if you do not manually install the update, Windows 11 will be automatically pushed to your computer before Oct. 14.  Upgrading now ensures a smoother transition and gives you control over the timing of the process so that it does not disrupt any work.
