One-week short course to help strengthen academic and science writing.

Full Description

This short course helps graduate students in research programs improve writing skills and gain confidence in formal, academic and science writing. The course is best suited to students with a substantial piece of academic writing already in progress, such as a journal article, seminar paper, or section of a thesis or dissertation. You will learn strategies to revise and improve these works-in-progress in class and revising an in-progress work is a requirement of the course. The course is intended to help empower you to become a better writer and to provide you with new skills and better habits that make your writing clearer and more cohesive, as well as more efficient.
