Chapter Overview & History

The Alpha Delta Sigma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered at William & Mary on September 18, 2010. Founded nationally on November 17, 1911, Omega Psi Phi is a historically Black fraternity with a legacy of leadership, service, and advocacy.

Since its founding, Alpha Delta Sigma has made a meaningful impact on campus and in the Williamsburg community. The chapter has competed and earned recognition at the Black Student Organization’s StompFest, while also engaging in voter registration initiatives and community service efforts that promote civic engagement and social responsibility.

As a member of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), the chapter continues to uplift the campus community by fostering brotherhood, encouraging academic achievement, and serving as role models rooted in purpose and perseverance.

Philanthropy & Service

The Alpha Delta Sigma Chapter is actively involved in community-focused service and advocacy, including voter registration initiatives and service efforts that support civic engagement and community empowerment.

Membership Information

  • Joining Requirements: Minimum 2.5 GPA and at least 30 completed credit hours
  • Chapter Dues: $150 per year
