Training Update

A communication was emailed to merchant managers on 2/26/2025 explaining some updates to training for students, volunteers and affiliates. Here is a short review:

Students/Volunteers/Affiliates-complete the training using the links provided to you in the email.

Merchant Managers-

  • Ensure necessary individuals complete training
  • Log completed training
  • Ensure that students, volunteers and affiliates complete a Confidentiality Agreement and that you keep it on file for the current year.

Staff/Faculty- Continue to Complete training in Cornerstone

Did You Know?

According to the 2017 Verizon Data Breach Investigation Report, 81% of hacking-related breaches leveraged stolen and/or weak passwords. The following tips can help:

  • Don't share your account and password with anyone (referenced in the Acceptance Use Policy). 
  • Don't write your password down.
  • Never use your William & Mary password for any other service.
  • Be aware of phishing.
  • Enable two-factor authentication (including Duo) on every account when possible.
