Financial Conflict of Interest Committee
The Federal government made changes to laws governing grants, contracts and other agreements sponsored by certain agencies. The changes were intended to promote integrity and ethical behaviors in the design, conduct (hiring, procurement, financial management, reporting), publication and presentation of federally sponsored research by reducing the potential for bias associated with financial incentives. In conformance with these changes in Federal law, William & Mary has implemented a policy regarding disclosure and management of Financial Conflict of Interest. The Financial Conflict of Interest Committee will assist the university’s Institutional Official in evaluating and managing these conflicts.
