Non-Program Student Housing
Information for W&M students seeking housing outside of Study in D.C.
Students participating in a Study in D.C. Program are given priority consideration for available housing in Washington, D.C. Students not participating in a W&M Washington Center program are considered on a first-come, first-served, as well as a space-available basis. This means that we have limited numbers of beds available and will only be able to accommodate enough students for the number of empty beds we have. Further, W&M DOES NOT own housing in the Washington, D.C. area. All housing utilized for term-long engagements is provided by a contracted third-party. Payments and agreements are made with the W&M Washington Center, and every student is required to sign a housing agreement, wherein you agree to meet, complete, and follow:
- The Honor Code
- The Student Code of Conduct
- Our Contractor's Policies and Regulations
- Payment and Notification deadlines
If you agree to and understand all of the above information, you can find additional information below. The deadline to apply for Summer 2025 consideration is March 2, 2025, @ 11:59 PM.
