Anna Allred '26
Anna is a senior at William & Mary, graduating summa cum laude with a BA in Public Policy and Economics. She grew up in Idaho and moved to Virginia as a high-schooler. She interned for Senators Susan Collins and Joe Manchin as a freshman at W&M, and spent the last two summers interning in the energy and natural resource policy space in Alaska.
Anna is engaged in two internships this semester. She is working for Our Republican Legacy, running their state outreach program and contributing to policy work. She is also interning for Jeannie Evans’ campaign for US Senate in Illinois, working on issues and speechwriting.
After graduation, she hopes to staff on the Hill or work in conservative energy policy.


Jonah Layton ‘27
Jonah is a Junior at William & Mary studying Economics and Government. After graduating, he hopes to attend law school. He is excited to be a part of the D.C. Program and is interested in learning more about the city. He hopes that his experiences in D.C. will help him gain a better understanding of the country's legal systems so that he can jumpstart his future career in the law. In his free time, Jonah enjoys playing the piano, spending time with friends and family, and helping his local church. Jonah will be interning with Rep. Jason Smith’s (MO8-R), this spring.


Salma Amrou ‘26
Salma Amrou is a senior at William & Mary from Chesapeake, Virginia, currently pursuing a B.S. in Psychology. She is one of twelve students representing William & Mary in D.C. in the Spring of 2026, and will be working as the Marketing, Communications, and Research Intern at XR Association. Outside of academics, she is passionate about writing and storytelling, particularly poetry and journalistic works. She was awarded the 2025 Academy of American Poets Prize at William & Mary, the title of the 2022 Youth Poet Laureate of Southeastern Virginia, and the 2021 Frank Keegan "Take No Prisoners" Award for News from Youth Journalism International.


Sebastian Meier ‘27


Grace Yim ‘28
Grace is a Sophomore at William & Mary with a prospective major in accounting. She will participate in the Washington Center’s D.C. Spring Semester Program, where she will complete a full-time internship in Washington D.C. Grace is eager to explore how accounting and global business intersect, particularly in consulting and public service settings.
Her previous experience includes tutoring children and working part-time, where she developed strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Outside of academics, Grace enjoys visiting art museums, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to represent William & Mary in Washington D.C. and to build a foundation for her future career in accounting and international business. Grace is interning at Kathleen Finn, LLC.

Kymoni Young ‘26
Kymoni is a senior at William and Mary majoring in Sociology with a concentration in criminology. She is aspiring to be a Family Lawyer and plans to go to law school in 2027. She is interning at Lawfty as a legal clerk. Throughout her years at William and Mary, she has been a part of calligraphy club, Phi Sigma Pi, and the legal scholars program. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and traveling.
