Catering Options
If you would like to provide meals, beverages, or refreshments for your event, class, or meeting, there are a variety of options near the Center, and most will deliver. From a casual breakfast of bagels and coffee to more elaborate receptions, the following are a sample of recommended restaurants and caterers:

MK Catering is the W&M Washington Center preferred caterer. MK is fantastic and can provide service at various levels from continental breakfast to lunches, snack breaks, and large dinner receptions. They are easy to work with, wonderfully staffed, make everything look beautiful, pay close attention to detail, and will work with you to get exactly what you envision. They can do drop-off service or provide servers and bartenders. MK knows W&M and the Center space intimately. We highly recommend MK Catering for all events and suggest you start with their corporate catering menu. We use MK for everything. Contact Joseph Choueike directly for menu suggestions and proposals. Mention you are hosting your event with the W&M Washington Center.

An inexpensive but professional drop-off option for breakfast, lunch, or appetizers, Balducci's offers a variety of budget-friendly and delicious catering. Located in Alexandria, but able to deliver to the W&M Washington Center, this is a great option for most breakfast and lunch events. For lunch, we especially recommend the Executive Luncheon package. Great helpful staff, easy to work with. We use them often for board meeting luncheons.

Founding Farmers and Distillers makes great quality food and has a wide variety of offerings. They not only provide excellent catering services, but they are very close to the center and offer wonderful table service if you're looking for a way to stretch your legs between classes. They're convenient and quick, and they're a great option when you're looking to impress without breaking the bank.

Similar to Balducci's, Whole Foods offers another casual and inexpensive option for breakfast, lunch, and snack platters. We use them often for small receptions. You can order online and then contact Kenny to request delivery instead of pick-up.

Bethesda bagels are a dependable option for breakfast. They offer quality items in bountiful quantities for a very reasonable price. Their bagels come in many varieties and are always accompanied by delicious hand-made schmears. They also offer hot breakfast items and are quick with their deliveries.

PLEASE NOTE:
- The Washington Center has a small kitchenette that can accommodate the storage and plating of food. The kitchenette contains one microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, an ice maker, and a sink. Unfortunately, the power capacity of this kitchenette can not accommodate the electric equipment needed for the cooking of food.
- There are MANY more options near the Washington Center and we can help you find them. This list just represents some of our favorites and is not a formal endorsement.
