Throughout the Fall 2024 semester, Beta Theta Pi made alcohol available to underage students at recruitment, social, and new member education events at both the on and off campus house, including in association with big/little revelation. The organization also engaged in a series of hazing behaviors, including:
- On or around bid day, taking several new members off campus, wearing blind folds, and asking them to swim in College Creek while providing alcohol to them. New members were also requested to bring specific objects with them, such as a hat or stick.
- Maintaining a "signature task" system whereby new members would collect the signatures of current members after completing a task of each member's choosing, with several completed tasks involving alcohol/drugs or dangerous activities.
- Maintaining a "pledge task" system whereby new members were assigned embarrassing, harmful, demeaning, and/or dangerous tasks to complete during the new member education process including: carrying items (such as tobacco/nicotine products and condoms) at all times and making themselves available for current members to request such items on demand; watching a sexually explicit podcast and writing a report on it; performing a standup routine at a Chapter meeting with sexual content; carrying a basketball or scooter at all times; filming a weather report each day in the early morning and sharing the report with the members.
- Requiring new members to find and shake hands with current members on demand.
- Requiring new members to recreate a TikTok video involving a stunt where a student is "hit" by a fast-moving vehicle.
- Requiring new members to bring food to current members on demand.
- Requiring new members to consume a case of alcohol to leave a confined space.
- Requiring new members to drink a case of beer during "big/little" reveal week.
- Requiring new members to report to the off-campus house on demand to clean before social events.

On the final night of the process, new members were expected to stay up all night, creating and practicing their drills, and to present their drills to the current members afterward. Between the dates of April 27 – 29 the organization hosted several events off campus in which new members performed a variety of compulsory activities and tasks. In one of the activities attendees were required to consume alcohol and participate in drinking games.
