Accessibility Services

William & Mary will provide reasonable accommodations related to a disability at events throughout Family Weekend. You will have an opportunity to note this in your Family Weekend registration.

If you missed this question in your event registration, please contact Family Engagement by email ([[familyweekend]]) or phone (757-221-2508) to let us know what you need at least two weeks in advance.

Family Engagement will contact you within one week of completing your registration to coordinate an accommodation or to discuss resources available to support your visit to campus.

Accessible Parking

ADA parking spaces are available near all university buildings. A map of these locations can be found here.

ASL Interpretation

If someone in your family needs ASL interpretation, please contact us at least two weeks in advance.

Mobility Assistance

Many guests request mobility assistance during Family Weekend. Due to the volume of events and the complex nature of the Family Weekend schedule, we are unable to provide mobility shuttles for individual event attendees. The university does not have wheelchairs for loan.

If you or a family member need a wheelchair or mobility device for the weekend, we recommend reaching out to Williamsburg Scooter Rentals or Williamsburg Mobility for support. They deliver directly to campus.

Special Diets & Dietary Restrictions

Meals throughout Family Weekend are on your own for all families. There are many restaurants and retail dining facilities in Williamsburg that can accommodate your requests.

Snack breaks will be provided at Family Weekend Headquarters and will be clearly labeled for all guests. William & Mary is a tree nut and peanut free campus.
