Fall 2025 West Woods Update

Transportation to and from existing residence halls on campus will continue through current WATA Route 8 as normal, and shuttles to and from campus to Woodlands Hotel will operate until students move in to their permanent housing assignment in West Woods upon completion. View a map of shuttle drop off/pick up locations and a route schedule below.

Monday - Oct 13th Runs every 30 minutes, 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM
- One bus will be running
Tuesday Oct 14th Runs every 30 minutes 7:00 AM - 5 PM

WATA Bus (Public Transit) is available to provide connections within the greater Williamsburg Area and JCC from the Transportation Center:

Every 30 minutes, 7 days a week
6:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Existing Route 3 and Route 15 lines. Please visit the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority website for more information about stops and timelines.
Pick up is 0.02 miles from the hotel

W&M Bike racks located at Woodlands Hotel will must be clear by 7:00 AM Thursday Oct 16th. These racks will be relocated back to campus.
