School of Education reception The School of Education Matoaka Woods room is set with rental furniture for a reception.

Crim Dell Bridge Centrally located on campus, the Crim Dell bridge is a unique and fun feature.

Wren Chapel Ceremonies

This beloved venue may be reserved for the wedding ceremonies of W&M students, alumni, current faculty and staff, and the children of anyone in those groups. Weddings may be booked for any day of the week, with some restrictions on holidays and during the month of October. Saturday wedding reservations are from 11:30a-1:30p, 2-4p, 4:30-6:30p, and 7-9p. The Chapel's maximum capacity is 120. The Chapel is under renovation in 2025, but we are booking wedding ceremonies starting in January of 2026. Submit a wedding interest form.

Crim Dell Meadow and Sunken Gardens Weddings

Directly behind the historic Christopher Wren building is the beautifully landscaped Sunken Garden and Crim Dell meadow. Based on the design for the Chelsea Gardens in London, the Sunken Garden has been a favorite spot for generations of students. Rental furniture can be set up for ceremonies, cocktail hour, and receptions of various sizes.

Miller Hall Weddings

The School of Business is available year-round for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The Brinkley Commons room can seat up 200 for receptions, with additional space in the lounges and atrium for cocktail receptions. Ceremonies can be celebrated in the courtyard or atrium.

Matoaka Ampitheatre Weddings

The area under the sail-shaped awning can be used for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. While a wonderful option for May, June, July and August events, the ampitheatre is booked heavily by students during the academic school year.

School of Education Weddings

The School of Education's Matoaka Woods room can seat up to 200 for receptions with ceremonies outside in the nearby Courtyard.
