William & Mary Hall The Hall can accommodated a wide array of activities, from athletic events to concerts to large academic conferences and trade shows.

Athletic Facilities Kaplan Arena, within William & Mary Hall, measures almost 24,000 square feet has a seating capacity of approximately 10,000.

Briggs Ampitheatre Kaplan Arena, within William & Mary Hall, measures almost 24,000 square feet has a seating capacity of approximately 10,000.

Kaplan Arena

Kaplan Arena is a multi-purpose arena used for graduations, athletic events, concerts, large academic conferences and trade shows. The arena floor measures almost 24,000 square feet.  

Briggs Ampitheatre at Lake Matoaka

With 575 seats and terraced green space to increase the capacity to 1100, the ampitheatre is a scenic concert and event venue. The area under the sail-shaped awning is available for smaller dinners and receptions. This area is typically only available for non-student groups during the summer and academic breaks. 

Sadler Center

The Chesapeake room can seat 570 theatre-style while the Commonwealth Auditorium across the  hall can seat 450. When used in conjunction with other meeting rooms in the building, this venue can offer plentiful seating variations for conferences, festivals, and fairs. This area is typically only available for non-student groups during the summer and academic breaks.
