About Me

I’m excited to serve as the Associate Director of Academic Advising at William & Mary! A lifelong Southerner, I have nearly 15 years of experience in higher education, having worked primarily in academic advising and student success capacities at institutions throughout the South. My academic advising philosophy is grounded in college student development and emphasizes a holistic, individualized, and student-centered approach that empowers students as they navigate complex academic pathways. In addition to my advising background, I hold a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Florida State University, which informs the evidence-based strategies I use for assisting students. When I’m not engaging with students, faculty, and staff at William & Mary, I enjoy watching college football and baseball, spending time with my cat (Gracie), and when I’m able, traveling to visit my nieces in Scotland!
