W&M choirs to perform winter concerts

The William & Mary Choir, Women’s Chorus and Botetourt Chamber Singers will present two winter concerts on Dec. 3 in Phi Beta Kappa (PBK) Hall.
The first concert, scheduled for 2 p.m., will be a family-friendly performance. The audience will be encouraged to sing eight familiar carols along with the choirs.
The second performance at 8 p.m. will again offer sing-along carols, but it will also include a full repertoire of seasonal music. The choirs will sing works by J. G. Naumann, Warlock, Vaughan Williams, Schuetz, Szymko, Britten and Praetorius.
Featured guest performers will include the William and Mary Bel Canto Brass and Professor and Pianist Judy Zwerdling Zwelling.
Tickets to the concerts are $3 for students and $10 for general admission. They may be purchased at the PBK Box Office or online at http://wm.tix.com (an additional service charge will be applied).
As a thank you for their contributions to the campus community, William & Mary staff members may receive two complimentary tickets to the performance of their choice. To receive their tickets, they should present their W&M photo ID at the PBK Box Office.
