Campus-area road closures for Sunday's half-marathon

The inaugural Run for the Dream 8K and Half Marathon are scheduled for  Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22. Both races begin at Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall, 601 Jamestown Road, and end at The College of William & Mary’s Zable Stadium on Richmond Road. To ensure runner and pedestrian safety, motorists should expect traffic delays in the areas and times noted below and are encouraged to use clearly marked detours. Affected streets will be marked with temporary “Official Course Route” signage. The City of Williamsburg Police Department will manage changes in traffic patterns.

Roads within The College of William & Mary will be closed both days from approximately 7a.m. to 1 p.m. The Colonial Parkway will be closed on Sunday, May 22, from the Visitor Center to Historic Jamestown for a four-hour period beginning at 7:45 a.m.
