University News & Media

In support of William & Mary's external communications, University News & Media is responsible for production and distribution of news content through the W&M News and campus media relations including development of university-wide media outreach and placement strategies. The team also supports faculty, offices and programs in their public relations and communication needs through preparation of talking points and media training and coordinates all commercial filming and photography requests for the campus.

Additionally, we work in concert with the Emergency Management Team on creation and distribution of on- and off-campus communication during emergency incidents (including serving as William & Mary Police's public information office).
