W&M Board of Visitors to meet in Williamsburg and Petersburg on Nov. 19-21
Committee meetings will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, in Williamsburg, Va., in Blow Memorial Hall located at 262 Richmond Road. The meetings in Blow Hall will conclude by 6:15 p.m. and the Board will reconvene for dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Plumeri House, located at 119 Chandler Court.
On Thursday, Nov. 20, the Board will begin at 9 a.m. in Petersburg with a campus tour of Richard Bland College. The Richard Bland College Committee will meet from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Library Community Room in the Commons Building. Following lunch, the Board will return to Williamsburg and reconvene at 2 p.m. in the Board room at Blow Hall. Meetings on Thursday are expected to conclude by 6:15 p.m. The Board will then attend a dedication of the College’s new Integrated Science Center and host a reception and dinner at 7:15 p.m. in the Muscarelle Museum of Art at Lamberson Hall.
On Friday, Nov. 21, the meetings will reconvene at 8:15 a.m. in Blow Hall and should conclude by 1 p.m. The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
