Field School in the Architecture of London, 1603-1837 (History 406)
In January 2026, Dr. Carl Lounsbury and Dr. Jeff Klee led 16 William & Mary students on a Field School in London, where they learned about the ways in which American architecture originates in the building traditions of England; developed tools for investigating the built environment; and considered how to apprehend the social world by looking carefully at the material world.
