Interested in doing a summer internship? The Careers Center has a great page that lists multiple regional, national and international opportunities, and the FUSE page lists a range of funds and fellowships for which you can apply if you need funding support. The Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies Program sponsors the Carol Woody Real World Internship Program, which offers financial support to students who are doing internships in organizations that work on gender, sexuality and identity issues.
The English Department also has some dedicated funding available for students who want to do unpaid summer internships over the summer, and need financial support to do so. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but the sooner you apply, the more likely it is that you will be funded. We cannot fund summer internships for students who have graduated the previous May. Otherwise, all English majors and minors are welcome to apply.
