An accomplished artist working in two dimensions, Ryan Lewis '10 ventured into 3-D with a summer experiment in ceramics. "It's harder than I expected," he notes.
This video covers his early efforts to throw cylinders on the wheel ("learning the craft first, before working on the art" ) and his progression to the more difficult bowl shape and on through the final firing of the works he created.
