Favorite Spot

The place where you can find me most is the Alumni House! It is easily one of the most beautiful buildings on campus, with halls and walls filled with artifacts, portraits, and mementos that represent generations of William & Mary students and their stories. I especially admire how the original building was thoughtfully incorporated into the expansion. The mix of historic charm with modern touches matches what I believe to be my personal aesthetic: mending the old with the new. It is not just a meaningful space, it is also fun! I have played quite a few rounds of hide-and-seek and manhunt with friends, attended unforgettable campus events and parties, and found that though it sits on the edge of campus, it weirdly feels central to Tribe pride and W&M tradition. Whether it is welcoming new students or celebrating graduates, the Alumni House is where so many moments come full circle, and that is why it has become my favorite. I love that the space honors both where we have been and where we are going as a W&M community.

Go-To Wawa Order
