Favorite Spot

My favorite place on campus is the Tyler Family Garden, next to James Blair Hall. Whenever I walk by the garden, memories of childhood walks with my parents come to mind. As a young history fan, I was fascinated by William & Mary's connections to the U.S. presidency and looking at John Tyler's statue made me feel a sort of pride in the history of my hometown. Additionally, the mystery of the echo wall of James Blair Hall fascinated me. To this day, I enjoy using the site as a meeting spot, or as a place to escape the bustling paths of the Sunken Garden.
