Favorite Spot

The Brafferton Building is one of my favorite spots on William & Mary’s campus, not only for its beauty but for the history it represents. It reflects the deep roots and significance that first drew me to William & Mary. One of the main reasons I chose this university was its long-standing role in American history, and the Brafferton embodies that legacy – like many buildings on campus, it carries a unique and complex story. During my freshman year, I lived in Hunt Hall and had the chance to walk past the Brafferton and other historic landmarks every day.
