How can I talk about William without mentioning the best part: the people?! Nowhere captures the spirit of our welcoming community better than the Sadler Terrace. It’s the place where you can run into friends, wave to someone you had a class with three semesters ago or grab food and enjoy the sunshine. From Fridays @ 5 performances to surprise visits from the Ben & Jerry’s truck, the terrace constantly creates moments that bring our community together. I love that I can walk by at any time of day and count on seeing a familiar face or strike up a conversation with someone new. The Sadler Center and its terrace are the heartbeat of campus, a space that reflects our outgoing spirit and the support woven into everyday life. No matter who you are or what you’re navigating, the William & Mary community shows up for you, and nowhere represents that better than this welcoming hub at the center of it all.
