Favorite Spot

My favorite spot on campus is the sundial outside Swem Library, which epitomizes William & Mary at its best. From the seasonal flowers to the individuals studying outside, it's a harmonious blend between oasis and activity. The sundial itself is steeped in history and represents the university's strong relationship to time and tradition. Whether I'm visiting friends, soaking up the sun, or phoning my family at the affectionately nicknamed "Call Your Mom" courtyard, this area represents William & Mary's ethos of community and study.
