Favorite Spot

When I say my favorite part of William & Mary is the people, I mean it. The place where I can, without fail, find a friendly face is the Sadler Terrace. Decked with Adirondack chairs and picnic tables, a nice day boasts run-ins with friends and faculty in a relaxing place to pause and rest between the hustle and bustle of college life. If being social is a priority, the Sadler Terrace is your best bet to find a willing conversation partner or study buddy - you will always find someone you know here! In all honesty, walking by the terrace risks making me late for class if I can't resist the temptation of a classic terrace sit-and-chat. This place represents the core of William & Mary's student life experience and is what makes our campus a home.
