Favorite Spot

My favorite spot on campus is the Lake Matoaka Amphitheatre! Whether I'm looking for a quiet place to stroll, having a picnic with friends, or going on a run, Lake Matoaka is the perfect spot away from the bustle of campus. Besides the stunning views, the amphitheatre is a place where different student organizations hold events throughout the semester. I've been to several formals at the amphitheatre and watched many performances too. Next to the amphitheatre is the boathouse, where students can take out paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes at no cost. When the weather is nice, I love to paddle board with my friends and enjoy all that Lake Matoaka has to offer! It is certainly a spot worth checking out when you visit campus.
