Favorite Spot

Tucker Hall, specifically the basement! This is where all things linguistics happen, from classes and labs to research meetings. The atmosphere is quite cozy, but you can definitely get lost in the building due to its odd floor layout. As a research assistant in the Child Language Lab, I'm deeply involved in research with the linguistics program, and I frequent Tucker weekly, if not daily. I love working hands-on with my professors and other students to generate new ideas, create research stimuli, and collect data in real time! It's been such a great intellectual and creative outlet for me as a student. It's only good vibes in Tucker Hall!
