September 17 is recognized and celebrated as the day the U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution in 1787 in Philadelphia. William & Mary is hosting the following events on our historic campus. 

• 9/17/2026 - 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.   -   Stop by the Financial Aid Office in Blow Memorial Hall (room 124) for a free pocket copy of the U.S. Constitution.
• 9/17/2026 - 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.   -   Handwrite the Constitution - The Sadler Center Terrace. Celebrate Constitution Day by taking pen to paper and handwriting this American founding document, with snacks.
• 9/17/2026 - 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.   -   Handwrite the Constitution - The Swem Library, Dulin Learning Center.  Celebrate Constitution Day by taking pen to paper and handwriting this American founding document, with snacks.
• 9/17/2026 - 3:30 p.m.   -   Bells Across America program to celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution; join the Williamsburg Chapter of the NSDAR (National Society Daughters of the American Revolution) in partnership with The Sir Christopher Wren Society – 2^nd Floor, The Wren Building
