Warning

  • A hazard is expected to occur or is already occurring in your area or nearby, and its impact may be serious.

While most hazards have advisory, watch, or warning like:

  • Blizzard
  • Dust Storm/ Blowing Dust
  • Extreme or Excessive Heat
  • Extreme Wind
  • Flash Flood
  • Flood
  • High Wind
  • Hurricane
  • Ice Storm
  • Nuclear Explosion
  • Severe Thunderstorm
  • Snow Squall
  • Storm Surge
  • Tornado
  • Tsunami
  • Winter Storm
  • Volcano

 Some hazards may not have an advisory, watch, or warning. Always defer to the alert.
