Given that e-mail is never fully confidential, it is our policy not to use e-mail for communication of any kind with William & Mary Counseling Center clients.
We welcome your contacts and also value your privacy. Since the university reserves the right to monitor e-mail usage, guaranteed privacy cannot be extended to electronic communication. Additionally, we may not be able to respond to your concerns in a timely fashion via e-mail since Counseling Center staff may not check e-mail on a regular or daily basis. All this means we use the "old fashioned" way of communicating - the telephone or in person. We trust you understand.
