Mary-Christine Bird (MC) works closely with undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities, faculty, and campus partners to ensure equitable access across all aspects of campus life. MC values collaboration and enjoys working with colleagues across Student Success who share a strong commitment to connecting students with the resources and support they need to thrive.
MC’s educational background, extensive experience supporting individuals with disabilities in a variety of settings, and her lived experience as a person with a disability have shaped her passion for advancing disability awareness and visibility. She is deeply committed to fostering inclusive, accessible environments that benefit the entire campus community.
Born and raised in Connecticut, MC holds a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arizona. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
