About Angelique

Angelique Echols '25, M.Ed. ’27 currently serves as the Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Veteran Engagement at William & Mary. Angelique is a Navy veteran who served from 2018 to 2022 as a Master-at-Arms stationed at Naval Station Norfolk. Prior to her enlistment, she worked at the Davis-Monthan AFB Exchange in Tucson, Arizona, and deployed to Camp Arifjan in Kuwait from 2015 to 2017 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve across Southwest Asia.
Angelique holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in History from William & Mary. She is currently a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the School of Education, pursuing the Military and Veteran specialty track. As both a student and veteran, Angelique is passionate about fostering belonging and flourishing among military-connected students. She hopes to use her lived experience to advocate for culturally responsive mental health care and empower fellow veterans in their academic and personal journeys.
Outside of her academic and professional roles, Angelique is married to a fellow Navy veteran and is the proud mother of two girls. She is an avid reader and historian, with a deep appreciation for stories that illuminate the intersections of identity, service, and healing.
