Nadia Kusiima

Nadia supports the communication initiatives at GRI by making its research accessible to a wider audience. Working alongside the communications manager, she develops social media campaigns and creates multimedia content that engages researchers, policymakers and students. Previously, she worked on research for development projects through Feed the Future and contributed to research communications at her alma mater, the University of Florida. 

Originally from western Uganda, Nadia has lived and studied in Uganda, Kenya, and Eswatini. She graduated with a degree in Journalism with a focus on data analytics. She studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland. 

In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, solving puzzles, and trying not to burn down the kitchen.
