Jarin serves as the Financial Operations and Budget Specialist within the Global Research Institute (GRI) at William & Mary, providing specialized financial administration across multi-disciplinary teams. Her approach to university finance is collaborative and deeply intuitive; she focuses on nurturing an administrative culture that makes fiscal processes transparent, accessible, and supportive for the faculty, staff, and student researchers at GRI. Prior to anchoring her career in academic administration, Jarin cultivated substantial corporate and federal expertise as a Financial Consultant and Cost Analyst for the Department of Defense (DoD). In that capacity, she spearheaded comprehensive budget forecasting and contract compliance models within the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS).

Jarin graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in Finance in 2019 and earned her M.S. in Business Analytics from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary in 2022. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Educational Policy, Planning, & Leadership at the William & Mary School of Education. In her doctoral research, Jarin examines the systemic mechanisms through which administrative decisions and leadership shape organizational culture. She directly applies her scholarship to her professional life, ensuring that financial resource allocation is executed with a mindful awareness of institutional community health and workplace well-being.

Beyond her responsibilities in fiscal execution and doctoral scholarship, Jarin engages in coastal travel, values time spent with her dog, Jinji, and pursues independent endeavors focused on continuous skill acquisition and personal development.
