Her work centered on large-scale survey design and data-driven research at the interface of academia and policy.
Irene graduated from Manhattan College with a B.A. in Economics and in International Affairs in 2015 and earned her M.A. in International Relations from UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy. She has published peer-reviewed research in Perspectives on Politics and co-authors analysis and commentary for outlets including Foreign Policy on topics ranging from Taiwan to the war in Ukraine.
