The International Spouse Network (ISN) is a group of spouses and significant others who have accompanied their partners to Williamsburg and William & Mary. Coming from all over the globe, members share activities that promote friendship and understanding, including English conversation classes, holiday celebrations, movie screenings, cooking, crafts, excursions, and special events.
All W&M International Spouses/Partners are encouraged to participate and take an active role in organizing activities of interest to them. We encourage you to attend to make new friends, share experiences, and learn about other cultures. Whether you are here for a short time or are a permanent resident, join the fun!
The group meets on Fridays from 11am-1pm. Meetings will either take place in the Reves Room (1st floor of the Reves Center for International Studies) or at Baptist Campus Ministry (244 S. Boundary St). Young children are always welcome to the meetings.
For information on activities, programs, and groups to join, contact Eva Wong (757-221-3166).
English Language Resources
Our Global Friends program matches international spouses with members of the local community so that they can practice their English (conversation partners), and experience what American daily life is like outside of campus.
The International Spouse Network handbook [PDF] is now available online for more convenient reference.
