Welcome to William & Mary!
"We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with open eyes." - Jawaharlal Nehru
The Reves Center for International Studies extends a warm welcome to you! The International Family Network (IFN) provides support to W&M's international community. In particular, IFN is an important resource for the family members of our international students, scholars, faculty and staff.
At IFN, you can meet new friends and talk with members who have been through the experience of leaving their home countries and overcoming the challenges of being in a new place. Members are eager to guide you in creating your new life at Williamsburg. You can get information about housing, child care, local activities, volunteering opportunities and many other topics. It is our hope that your time at William & Mary will be an enriching one.
For more information, please contact Mona Starman. We would love to hear from you!
Programs and Events
Wednesday Morning Club
Wednesday Morning Club is held once a month from 10am–12pm at the Reves Center. This is a great way to meet other international families, practice your English, and learn about interesting topics. Children are always welcome.
Friday events are held every Friday, from 10:30am-1:00pm. The events take place at different locations in Williamsburg. Our events have included trips to Colonial Williamsburg, an Alpaca Farm, Yorktown beach, Williamsburg Winery, bowling, mini-golfing, local parks and much more. Come join the fun! Children are always welcome.
Ladies Night Out
Once a month, just the ladies of the group get together for a special event. This is a space where members can enjoy time together, create beautiful things and ask questions.
