We welcome donations to the work of W&M Civic & Community Engagement. You can give directly to the W&M Civic & Community Engagement online. Learn more about other forms of giving at William & Mary Ways to Give. You may also give directly to Branch Out alternative breaks.

Your support allows us to continue and expand quality opportunities for students to cultivate active citizenship within our communities.

Here are a few programs and opportunities your donation can support:

Covers the trip cost for one site leader of a week-long domestic Branch Out alternative break.
Offers a scholarship for an incoming student to participate in our 7 Generations pre-orientation trips

Funds our annual Volunteer Fair, providing the opportunity for 20+ community organizations to connect with W&M students each September and form long-term service partnerships.
Covers supplies and lunch for four Saturday Programs in Griffin School Partnerships, which provide outside enrichment opportunities and cultivate life-skills for middle school students. Saturday Programs focus on themes such as arts and cultural appreciation, environmental awareness, and community service.
Sponsors a student participant for a week-long domestic Branch Out alternative break.
Covers weekly snacks for middle school students in Griffin School Partnerships for one semester. For the children we work with, many of whom are on free and reduced lunch, snacks provide a sense of food security and the energy necessary to successfully complete their assignments.

Provides van maintenance for the year. Working in community does not happen unless we can get there. Our four vans made 694 trips in one year, totaling 5,001 hours, and keeping them running adds up.
