Storage Solution	Description	Access
OneDrive	The preferred tool for storage at W&M for personal work files and available to all faculty, staff and students through the Microsoft Office 365 license. OneDrive is connected to many of the applications you use on a regular basis, like Word, Excel and Teams. For more information, read our news story on OneDrive.	Any computer, tablet or mobile device with internet connection. Can be accessed through file explorer on your computer Office 365 website at https://office.wm.edu/ or https://onedrive.wm.edu/
Shared Storage (Teams/SharePoint)	The preferred tool for storage at W&M for department files. SharePoint is connected to many of the applications you use on a regular basis, like Word, Excel and Teams. Allows for version history while editing and real-time editing and collaborating with colleagues within your department or Team.	Any computer, tablet or mobile device with internet connection. Can be accessed through file explorer on your computer if a shortcut has been created to OneDrive. Office 365 website at https://office.wm.edu/ Within Teams in your General or Channels area under Files
Box	Box is William & Mary's file sharing, file storage and collaboration platform.  With 100 GB of space, it provides a simple, secure way for faculty and staff to store and share files online. More information located at W&M Box website.	Any computer, tablet or mobile device with internet connection. Online at https://box.wm.edu/ Can access files offline with Box Drive and sync files to your desktop.
Google Workspace	Cloud-hosted storage option for students. There is unlimited storage for W&M students. Learn More about Google Drive at W&M website. Can be used within the Google Apps for Education (Docs/Sheets).	Any computer, tablet or mobile device with internet connection. Login through myW&M or workspace.wm.edu.
