W&M Systems
W&M uses Banner Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to manage core day-to-day business activities (Human Resources, Finance, Financial Aid, Student, Self-service) along with a complement of 100+ additional systems.

What are the major business activities at W&M?
The W&M Activity Model is a diagram that represents the dynamic aspects of W&M work performed by hundreds of offices. It is a framework that is used to simplify W&M’s organizational complexities and provide a way to categorize information. The ENABLING ACTIVITIES support the CORE ACTIVITIES of Teaching, Research and Service with our Students, Faculty and Community. The Data Fundamental content will be organized based on the W&M Activity Model.
Financial Services
Qlik Sense & Finance is a series of courses designed to combine Qlik Sense navigation with financial data and concepts at the university. The 100-level courses are introductory and ideal for new employees or those seeking a refresher or reference guide. Future courses will build upon those concepts.
