Teaching, Research & International Policy

The Teaching Research and International Policy Project (TRIP), based at W&M’s Global Research Institute, gathers data and publishes analyses on the discipline of International Relations (IR) and its interactions with the public and policymakers. TRIP focuses on understanding how students and scholars of IR assist policymakers and communicate their knowledge to the public.

The project collects data on academic IR journals, conducts snap polls of IR scholars on current events, and administers extensive surveys to policymakers, journalists, the U.S. public and IR scholars from all around the world.
