After graduation, our alumni succeed in everything from arts management to Teach for America. They become successful performers, composers, professors, authors, journalists, and curators. Many go on to study Music and its related fields in some of the world's best graduate schools. Some have pursued work as professional musicians (in popular and folk realms as well as classical), as music educators, and as recording studio technicians. Still others have entered non-musical careers such as law, medicine, and business. Because a good number of our graduates double-majored during their time at the College, a list of their accomplishments would be endless.
Please read some recent updates from alumni and friends of our Department. You can also review the short-term and long-term reported careers of Music majors at the Career Center's website. Select Music in the scroll-down menu and then click Submit for the results.
