On Saturday, October 25 during Homecoming Weekend, around 100 Biology Department alumni, faculty, emeritus faculty, staff and students had a wonderful reunion as the department faculty hosted an open house in the conference room of the new Integrated Science Center (ISC) building, into which many faculty have moved.
Alumni toured our new offices and research laboratories, and met fellow biology department alumni, faculty, and some current students, before watching the Tribe football team play the University of Rhode Island at Zable Stadium (unfortunately, the Tribe did not prevail). Light refreshments were enjoyed, especially Dr. Liz Allison's home-made triple chocolate, multi-layered raspberry cake. This renewed tradition was a great success, and we look forward to hosting another Open House during next year's homecoming weekend!
